Middle Level Education / Master of Arts

To obtain a Master of Arts degree in Middle Level Education, candidates must complete a 41-hour program. The coursework is designed to provide pre-service teacher candidates with the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to be successful classroom teachers. In addition to the required coursework for licensure, in order to earn a Master of Arts degree in Middle Level Teacher Education, candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive exam administered through the department.
