Technology Learning and Design Education: Technology Specialist K-12 Endorsement
This sequence of courses is designed for educators who wish to add a Technology Specialist endorsement on their Illinois Professional Educator license, so that they may serve as technology leaders in the P-12 schools. The Technology, Learning, and Design Education Technology Specialist Endorsement program is aligned with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards for technology coaches. Upon completion of the program, candidates may apply to the state for endorsement on the Professional Educator License.

Candidates with prior coursework in educational technology may transfer or waive up to 6 hours, depending on transcript review by program faculty and licensure officer.
