Dental Hygiene Bachelor of Science

Total Credit Hours: 131

Major Credit Hours: 84

 

A grade of "C" or better must be earned in a prerequisite course in order to advance to the next course in the sequence.

 

Dental Hygiene majors may take a Biology class only two times. If the student has not achieved a minimum of “C” after the second attempt, the student may not repeat the class.  A student entering this program must have a minimum composite ACT of 23.

II. The advanced writing requirement of the General Education curriculum is satisfied by the successful completion of 02-111 and 02-116 General Biology Labs I and II which require strong writing components.

III. College of DuPage Courses (54)

Students admitted by the College of DuPage to the Dental Hygiene program will be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from Lewis University at the successful completion of the program.  Students must complete the following classes, which will then be transferred back to Lewis University.
