Major Credit Hours: 42

The general studio art major is provided with a wide range of both fine art and commercial art related courses. This major allows the prospective student a broader, less defined course of study in the field of art. The program emphasizes the self-expressive concerns of the art student.

Majors in General Studio Art must earn a grade of “C” or better in all courses in the program. Courses in which a major has earned less than a grade of “C” must be repeated.
