The English Studies Department offers a concentrations in creative writing, professional writing, and general writing. English majors in the Writing program may not minor in Literature and Language.  The following courses are designated capstone experiences: ENGL 38000 The ePortfolio Seminar and ENGL 46000 Senior Seminar in English Studies.

III. ePortfolio

In consultation with their advisors in the English Studies Department, majors must submit for review an ePortfolio of writing. The ePortfolio represents assignments and projects completed in courses. Students should register for ENGL 38000 ePortfolio Seminar during the final semester before graduation; i.e., the semester in which they plan to graduate.
