Five one-credit hour Practicums are required of all majors in the Theatre major. Besides the required Practicums, which include THTR 41000, THTR 41400, THTR 41600, THTR 42700, majors must choose one additional Practicum. Students may take more than the required number. Additional Practicums may be chosen from THTR 38400 to THTR 42500. Each Practicum is arranged with an individual instructor and is designed to give the student practical experience in different areas of theatre. The Practicums consist of work on one of the five mainstage productions offered by the department each year. Consent of the show's director or the department chair must be acquired before registering for these Practicums.
