Pianists have the option of taking 8 semesters of Applied Piano, but at least 2 semesters of piano are required of all Music majors.

III. Comprehensive examinations in Music theory and history are required by the department for graduation. The capstone course, MUSC 49700 Music Seminar, offered online, is designed to prepare Music majors for these examinations.
