NURS-21000 Safety and Accountability in Medication Administration

This course focuses on developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for the safe and accountable administration of medications across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on accurate dosage calculation, proper administration techniques, and accurate documentation resulting in an outcome of safe and accountable medication administration. Didactic and experiential laboratory experiences are based on the authentic nature of medication administration.
