Minor Requirements
Minor: ASCI
The minor in Actuarial Science will allow students to obtain a deeper understanding of mathematics in combination with statistics and business management in preparation for a career as an actuary or in a related field. The courses will focus on the quantification and management of risk that improve decision-making under uncertainty. Students will cultivate their analytical and problem-solving skills, business skills, communication skills, and computer skills while also preparing to pass the first two actuarial exams.

Students should choose one of the following tracks to fulfill the minor requirements. Note that each track below fulfills a Validation by Educational Experience (VEE) requirement, so it is beneficial to complete both tracks if a student has the extra time and space.
