Respiratory Care / Bachelor of Science in Biology to Master of Science in Respiratory Care / 3 + 2 Program

Total Credit Hours: 134

Major Credit Hours: 91

Students enrolled in this program will be awarded a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lewis University and a Master of Science in Respiratory Care from Rush University. All catalog rules for the Bachelor of Science in Biology apply.

Degree Requirements

Program: BS-BIOL-1
Concentration: RSPC

Please note: Students admitted to the Respiratory Care Program in this manner will be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from Lewis University at the successful completion of the first two semesters of study at Rush University. A minimum of 92 credit hours are necessary to earn the Master of Science in Respiratory Care Program at Rush University. All courses taken during the first two semesters (28 hours) will be transferred back to Lewis University to meet the B.S. requirements. Students must complete the first two semesters (Fall and Spring semesters) in order to be awarded the B.S. degree from Lewis University. If they do not complete the first two semesters, they will need to return to Lewis to fulfill the degree requirements.
