17-210 General Physics 1

This course is the first of three introductory calculus-based Physics courses and provides the foundation for the other two.  Translational, rotational, and oscillatory motions of objects and the forces and torques acting on them are covered. Newton's Laws and the laws of conservation of energy, momentum, and angular momentum are emphasized. Lecture students must also concurrently enroll in 17-211.
