30-332 Health Promotion II

Course focuses on holistic health and wellness of individuals, families, and communities. Theories of growth and development, concepts of health and illness as influenced by physiological, psychological, cultural, social policies, ethical, and legal issues are examined. An emphasis on family assessment throughout the lifespan using a variety of assessment techniques and instruments, are introduced and applied to identify family health status and risk factors.
