This course will cover the importance of supply chain sustainability, ass well as the necessary ethical practices that must be exhibited in the industry. The concepts of energy consumption, water consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste generation will be thoroughly covered along with the benefits and challenges of "'going green" in the industry. Ethical principles affecting "going green" as well as company relationships, honesty and respect are discussed.

This course covers the critical role that warehousing plays in satisfying the customer requirements for the timely delivery of goods. Students will learn the importance of the warehouse when the production and consumption of goods do not coincide.
