30-231 Health Assessment

This course utilizes concepts from the liberal arts and sciences to provide holistic health assessment across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on the development of leadership skills in critical thinking, diagnostic reasoning, and critical inquiry for the safe provision of quality care across the populations.

Second-semester Sophomore Nursing majors; Nursing 30-201, 30-203, and 30-230, or concurrently; Chemistry 03-105; Biology 02-101, 02-102, 02-103, 02-104, 02-225 and 02-227; Psychology 26-220 or concurrently; Biology 02-270 or concurrently; and consent of the College of Nursing and Health Professions.
