FLAN-10400 First-Year Spanish 2

The second part of the introductory Spanish course. Students completing the course demonstrate Novice Mid/High level of proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension. In addition to language skills, students explore accepted cultural practices, patterns of behavior and communication, cultural products, and popular beliefs, values, attitudes in the Spanish speaking countries within the scope of themes covered during the semester. Not open for students with more than 1 year of high-school/college Spanish or native speakers of Spanish. This course fulfills the General Education requirement for Globalization.
